Terms, and how the draw works

Last updated August 2026

The monthly draw

Vouch runs a free prize draw each calendar month for the Peckham SE15 patch. Entries are earned by filing takes, and are weighted by how useful the take is:

Entries are capped at twelve per person per calendar month. Filing beyond the cap contributes to the patch but does not improve your odds.

Free entry route

No purchase or contribution is necessary to enter. You may enter the draw without filing a take, at no cost, with exactly the same odds as any earned entry.

To enter free, send your name, email address and the month you are entering for to [email protected], or use the form at vouchfor.uk/draw/free-entry. One free entry per person per month. Free entries carry identical weight to earned entries and are recorded in the same public ledger.

Eligibility

Drawing and prizes

The draw takes place on the first day of the following month. If fewer than 200 qualifying takes were filed in the patch that month, no draw takes place: entries carry forward intact and the prize pot compounds into the next month.

The pot is divided between four winners at 60, 20, 10 and 10 per cent. Prizes are experiential and local, for example a meal or a bar tab at a venue in the patch, and are not exchangeable for cash.

The entry ledger is public, including retractions, and the random seed used for each draw is published afterwards so that any result can be independently checked. Winners are announced in the monthly newsletter and on the leaderboard.

Takes and moderation

Takes must describe a genuine visit. Takes found to be fabricated, written by a venue about itself, or otherwise in breach of these terms are removed, and any entries they earned are retracted by a negative entry in the public ledger.

A venue may reply publicly to any take about it. A venue cannot have a take removed because it disagrees with it, and paying for a claimed listing confers no ability to remove, suppress, reorder or otherwise influence takes, rankings, categories or awards.

Data

Venue listings are built from the Food Standards Agency food hygiene register under the Open Government Licence, and from OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database Licence. Receipt images uploaded for verification are stored privately, are never published, and location metadata is stripped from all uploaded photographs before storage.
